Green Turtles on the Great Barrier Reef
At the end of June 2012 in the north-east coast of Australia were found dead about 70 species of green turtles. Queensland Department of State officials did not give an answer, because of the death of the animals. One thing – the population of green turtles rapidly decreasing every year.
39-year-old Australian writer and photographer Troy Mayne tries to bring the problem to restore the population of green turtles as many as possible. Most recently, Maine captured two adult turtles – Shelly and Casey – in the waters around the Great Barrier Reef.
